STATE COLLEGE, Pa., Apr 23, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Rex Energy Corporation ("Rex Energy") (Nasdaq: REXX) announced today its plans to release first quarter 2009 earnings Wednesday, May 6, 2009 before the market opens. In conjunction with the release, the company will host a conference call and webcast to review financial and operating highlights at 10:30 a.m. Eastern time on the same day. Representing Rex Energy on the call will be Benjamin W. Hulburt, President and Chief Executive Officer; Thomas C. Stabley, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; and William L. Ottaviani, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
